Describe the CRAAP test

What will be an ideal response?

The CRAAP test is a tool used to assist students with evaluating sources such as websites. C stands for currency, asking whether the content is meaningful today. R stands for relevance and addresses whether the information fits the purpose of the assignment and whether it is written at an appropriate level. The two A's are for authority and accuracy and focus on whether the author is qualified and whether the information is based on evidence and/or is consistent with other information. The P is for purpose, addressing issues such as why the author wrote the information and whether there may be bias.
