(2) Public Law 99-457 extended the educational rights of children ages 3 to 5, regardless of state laws, and added programs addressing the needs of infants with serious disabilities.
(3) Public Law 101-476 (IDEA) required that schools plan for the transition of adolescents with disabilities into either further education or employment at age 16.
