Only halal, "permitted," foods may be eaten by Muslims. One can see restaurants and fast-food outlets in the Muslim world that advertise this concept—for example the popular Halal Fried Chicken chain, HFC for short. Foods that are haram, "forbidden," may not be eaten. Consuming pork or products with even a small amount of pork mixed in them is particularly forbidden. The Qur'an also prohibits the drinking of wine (2:219); this is taken to mean that all alcoholic drinks and even food cooked with alcohol are haram.
