Would you expect a well-developed sea breeze circulation to cause clouds to form over the land or over the ocean? Explain?

Sea breezes occur as the land heats more quickly during the day than the adjacent water, and the intensive heating of the air above produces a shallow thermal low. The air over the water remains cooler than the air over the land and a shallow thermal high exists over the water. The sea breeze blows at the surface from the sea toward the land. The strongest gradients of temperature and pressure occur near the land-water boundary, therefore the strongest winds typically occur near the beach and diminish landward. Sea breezes are strongest in the afternoon because this is when the greatest contrast in temperature between land and water usually takes place. The sea breeze moves from a surface high over the water to a surface low over land. The rising air of the surface low combined with humid conditions can cause clouds to form over the land during the day.
