What is the difference between a high and low explosive?

What will be an ideal response?

Low explosives deflagrate, which means they burn slowly and create less pressure than a high explosive. Low explosives actually do not explode and they create much less damage than a high explosive. High explosives burn quickly and create high pressure. High explosives explode violently and cause significant damage.
