Define jump rules and explain how they work.

What will be an ideal response?

Jump rules enable the firewall (when certain conditions are met) to execute a separate set of rules that examines the packet in question in much greater detail. Jump rules work the same way as nested programming code, in which the program flows until a specified condition is met. Once that condition is met, the device pulls up a separate, referenced set of code and follows its instructions.
