• Level Two—Conventional Stages—At the conventional stages, the individual recognizes that meeting expectations of others, such as family, peer groups, friends, or employees, is valuable in its own right.
o Stage Three: Interpersonal Concordance Orientation

At this level, there is a questioning of the existing social and legal system in the light of social utility and abstract principles, such as justice and human dignity. At this stage, we no longer accept the values and norms of our group, but attempt to view situations that impartially take into consideration everyone's interest.
