List, in order, the pathway urine will take starting with the glomeruli and exiting the body from the urethra.
What will be an ideal response?
Urine formation will start in the glomerulus. It will then proceed into the proximal convoluted tubule, loop of the nephron (loop of Henle) descending limb and then the ascending limb, followed by the distal convoluted tubule and draining into the collecting duct. Multiple collecting ducts will empty into the ureters which empty into the bladder. Once full the bladder will empty its contents into the urethra to be released from the body.
