Descriptive method in which the observer writes a brief description of the behavior and of each antecedent and consequent event each time the behavior occurs. Checklist method involves a checklist with columns for possible antecedents, behaviors, and consequences. Interval recording method involves you dividing an observation period into brief intervals of time and marking a data sheet at the end of each interval to record whether or not the behavior occurred in that interval.
