Describe the method of energy production in the Sun. What is the fuel? What is the end product? What kind of interactions occur? What is the role of temperature in the process? Could we use this process to produce energy on Earth?

What will be an ideal response?

The Sun produces energy by fusing hydrogen into helium. In net, four hydrogen nuclei fuse to produce one helium nucleus, two neutrinos, and energy. The temperature required is very high (at least 10 million K—the Sun's core is 15 million K). Research is underway to develop a controllable similar process to generate energy on Earth.
