Subscription plans include Office 365 Home Premium for home users, Office 365 University for students, Office 365 Small Business, Office 365 Small Business Premium, Office 365 Midsize Business, and Office 365 Enterprise and Government.

The Office 365 Home Premium subscription allows up to five concurrent installations by using the same email address and password combination. Each user can sign in with their individual Microsoft accounts using their own settings and accessing their own documents using a single Office 365 subscription.

The Office 265 University subscription plan is designed for higher-education full-time and part-time students, faculty, and staff. A one-time payment covers a four-year subscription. In addition, Office 365 University provides users with 27 GB of SkyDrive cloud storage rather than the free 7 GB provided by a Microsoft account, and 60 Skype world minutes per month for videoconferencing. Students have the option of renewing for another four years, for a total of eight years. The Office 365 University edition is limited to two computers.
