Discuss the three phases associated with a transition due to loss

What will be an ideal response?

Regardless of the type of transition, it involves a three-phase process (Bridges, 2001):
1) An ending, characterized by preoccupation with the change and how to let go of the old before picking up the new.
2) A disruption which may seem chaotic as the old roles and routines are replaced with new ones, with the potential for creativity.
3) Completion of the transition, when the individual has accommodated to the new way of life.
