Dreamweaver is capable of running any type of report as frequently as you want, as required by your project needs. The Reports command on the Site menu provides a list of reports that you can generate for your website. You can generate reports for the current document, the entire local site, selected files in the site, or a selected folder. These reports are grouped by type. The first type of report includes three categories of workflow reports. Workflow reports are useful when working in a team environment. For instance, you can run a workflow report that enables you to see files that other designers are using or produce a report that will list all files that have been modified recently. You can also generate a report that lists Design Notes-notes directed to other content creators who are working on different parts of your site. In addition to workflow reports, there are five categories of HTML reports: Combinable Nested Font Tags, Missing Alt Text, Redundant Nested Tags, Removable Empty Tags, and Untitled Documents. The Missing Alt Text and the Untitled Documents reports are especially important for website accessibility. After you run a report, you can save it as an XML file in a database, spreadsheet, or template for subsequent use.
