Discuss the difference between child minding in America and child minding in international families.
What will be an ideal response?
Ans: Varies. Child minding in America is reflective traditional nuclear families where two third of mothers stay at home while their husbands work for pay. Although a lower percentage, there are also stay-at-home fathers who take care of the children while their wife works. When both parents are working, small children often are cared for by relatives, nannies, or nonrelatives. International families also have family or friends to care of their children. However, the difference is that international mothers travel abroad to find employment often thousands of miles away in a different country.
