What is the difference between fundamental dimensions and derived dimensions?

Fundamental dimensions are those which cannot be reduced further. They
represent the primary way of taking measurements. Mass, length, time, and
temperature are the fundamental dimensions. Derived dimensions describe
various parameters having fundamental dimensions but either multiples, ratios,
or other combinations of the fundamental dimensions.
