Most people will eliminate the F's and any D's that they can before reaching the 2.5 constraint, make an application to the world's income distribution using John Rawl's terms "veil of ignorance," "economic justice," and "poorest of the poor."

What will be an ideal response?

This is really the only part of this set of questions that can be graded. The other parts are for data to use in class. Here the student should relate the "veil of ignorance" to his lack of advance knowledge about his place on the scale. "Economic justice" would be the distribution that the student created from behind the veil of ignorance. Finally, the student's propensity to raise the GPA in the class by eliminating the F's illustrates that justice is most clearly done when policy is geared toward helping the "poorest of the poor."
