Reform can include: 1) changes in the way teachers will be screened as they enter the profession, 2) how teaching will be evaluated, 3) the way teachers will be rewarded for quality work, and 4) changes in the ways student learning is assessed, even resulting in decisions about whether or not students will be promoted, based on the assessments.
