What was the basic manner in which Mr. Lunna learned to become a drummer? What was Mr. Lunna’s relationship to his drumming teacher?

What will be an ideal response?

• After studying drumming for an extended period with his father, he was sent to learn drumming from a "teaching-father." Through a period of master-apprenticeship, Mr. Lunna continued his studies of the drum with his "teaching-father," Mba Ngolba. The relationship between Mr. Lunna and Mr. Nbolba was indeed like father and son, so deep that when "Father" Ngolba died, instead of the usual custom of burying the luna in the grave of the deceased drummer, Mr. Ngolba had insisted that Mr. Luna have his personal luna. (See photo of Mr. Lunna holding the frame of Mr. Ngolba's luna, Figure 3-9, WOM p. 123.)
