The signs and symptoms vary depending on the rapidity of the hematoma formation. The most
common are headache, altered LOC, change in respiratory rate and rhythm, unilateral fixed and
dilated pupil on the same side as the hematoma, disconjugate eye movements, abnormal motor
responses (hemiplegia or hemiparesis) on the opposite side of the hematoma, and slow cerebration.
