What is a life review? How is this related to achieving integrity?

What will be an ideal response?

Erikson proposed that as people enter late life they begin the struggle of integrity versus despair, which involves the process by which people try to make sense of their lives. This struggle requires people to engage in a life review, the process by which people reflect on the events and experiences in their lifetimes. To achieve integrity, a person must come to terms with the choices and events that made his or her life unique.
