What results did Ira Reiss obtain in his research on premarital sexuality? In your opinion, did the attitudes toward premarital sexuality change in the 21st century?

What will be an ideal response?

Reiss recognized four types of attitudes toward premarital sexuality: abstinence (for both sexes), double standards (permissive for men, not for women), permissiveness with affection, and permissiveness without affection. Reiss’s research was conducted at the beginning of the sexual revolution, and there was a major prevalence of permissiveness with affection.
*There is no one true answer on the second question; it should be used to motivate to think about the divergence of attitudes, pictures of sexuality in the mass media, what they face as social mores in their environment, and more.
