Summarize and discuss the People v. Gasparik case. What was the main issue being discussed? What were the findings in this case? Do you agree or disagree?

What will be an ideal response?

Students must sufficiently summarize and discuss the case by providing facts such as the defendant, but denying, removing tags and the “sensormatic” device. The main issue was whether the defendant committed shoplifting despite never actually leaving the store with the leather jacket. The students must also summarize the discussion on larceny and the guilty verdict.
