Describe three benefits of the pre-referral process.

What will be an ideal response?

The pre-referral process provides a forum for teachers and other team members (parents) to meet and decide how to best meet that students’ needs. The process also helps to improve the communication between the school and the child’s parents because all are a part of the process and can give their insights. Lastly, the pre-referral process provides an opportunity for the general education teachers to learn more strategies to help reach out to the more diverse learners.
