What will be an ideal response?

The safety committee or safety focus group should be involved to demonstrate the organization’s commitment to safety and its awareness of the role of front-line employees in the safety process. The employee group may be able to shed light on unforeseen issues because of their experience in and with the operation. Employee involvement promotes buy-in with the employee group.
