What is the major difference between the trial courts and the appellate courts?
What will be an ideal response?
Answer: Trial courts conduct trials and appellate courts entertain appeals. An appellate court can grant a new
trial, but cannot conduct it itself. Once a valid judgment is entered by the trial court, and it is appealed,
the trial court is divested of the power to make further findings of fact.
