Describe a method used to visualize the location of a protein in a cell

What will be an ideal response?

One method is immunofluorescence, which uses an antibody to the protein of interest. This antibody or a second antibody that can bind to the first will be attached to a fluorochrome or to biotin. The resulting fluorescence can be detected with a microscope.
If the protein is not particularly antigenic, a fusion protein can be made with an epitope tag and an antibody to the epitope can be used. Another method involves fusing the protein to green fluorescent protein (GFP) which is autocatalytic (fluoresces on its own).

If you are modeling shopping decisions at the grocery store, and construct an outcome variable that is coded as 0 for no soup purchases, 1 for soup purchased of only one brand, and 2 for soup purchase of multiple brands, it would be appropriate to model this outcome as limited dependent variable because the:

A. outcome variable is ordinal. B. variable is dichotomous. C. range of possible values has consequential constraints. D. outcome variable is cardinal.
