Define endoluminal surgery

What will be an ideal response?

One form of minimally invasive robotic surgery is called endoluminal surgery. Endoluminal surgery, which is also called natural orifice surgery, does not require incisions. For example, devices recently approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration give the surgeon access to the stomach through the patient's mouth. Endoluminal surgery is being used in the relief of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). "An untethered miniature robot?inserted through the mouth would?be able to enter the abdominal cavity."
