Ans: Varies. Both qualitative and quantitative research are based on the methods of science and the spirit of scientific inquiry. Both are also similar in the major stages of inquiry from knowledge base to study methods to data analysis to study conclusions. They both base their conclusions on the data analyzed. And they are both transparent in regard to the methods employed in the pursuit of their research questions.
