Suggest the closest-fit architectural pattern for the systems of systems introduced in Exercise 20.3.
What will be an ideal response?
This is rather speculative as the information available is limited.
(a) Healthcare system. The closest pattern is probably Systems as Data Feeds,
where the constituent systems feed information to a principal system that
provides user access to that information. However, this could also be
implemented as a Container System.
(b) The World Wide Web. Really doesn’t fit with any of the patterns. The
closest is Trading Systems.
(c) Government welfare system. Systems as Data Feeds is definitely the most
appropriate pattern here.
