Who would you expect to be the main project manager/s within a project such as this one? What qualities would they need to have?

What will be an ideal response?

ANSWERS Research project managers tend to be experienced researchers—either within clinical practice or within academic institutions. They tend to have an established track record of successfully initiating and leading research teams from the early processes (e.g. ethics proposals) through to completion of projects, obtaining required funding, negotiating with key stakeholders, supervising teams, offering mentorship, ensuring effective dissemination of project outcomes, etc. Depending on the size and/or the duration of projects, there may be several managers at any one time or several managers may take turns to oversee projects. This helps to prevent project manager stress and burnout.
