What is a click, whirr response? Provide an example
What will be an ideal response?
As we grow up, we learn principles of social interactions that make us vulnerable to others' influence by producing an automatic response tendency, called a click, whirr response, that is triggered by others actions. The book discusses several types of click, whirr responses: reciprocation, consistency, social proof, and liking. An example of reciprocation happens to me when I try free samples at the grocery store; since the store gives me a gift of a sample, I generally reciprocate by buying the product if I like it, and if I don't like the sample I usually end up buying more groceries.
