From a holistic perspective, does task-centered practice overlook any important aspects of client functioning?

What will be an ideal response?

Some students believe that because task-centered practice is focused on concrete objectives, it de-emphasizes the importance of systems interactions and emotions in human functioning. These concerns are not necessarily valid, however, as the social worker’s assessment should be systemic, and feeling states can be included in goals and objectives, even though behavioral indicators will be required to demonstrate goal attainment.
