Is peak nucleate boiling a stable boiling condition?

What will be an ideal response?

Peak nucleate boiling is not stable in the sense that any increase or decrease in the temperature difference between the heating surface and the saturated fluid will decrease the actual amount of heat transfer to the boiling liquid.
