How did the Industrial Revolution effect agriculture?

What will be an ideal response?

The Industrial Revolution led to the widespread use of interchangeable parts in farm machines, which meant that when a part broke, it could quickly and easily be replaced rather than be custom-made by hand. This gave farmers more time to work the field, ultimately helping them to yield larger crops.

The Industrial Revolution also involved the invention of new types of farm equipment, such as the threshing machine, and the internal combustion engine, which meant the automation of many processes that were previously done by humans or animals.
