Briefly describe the four approaches used by organizations to deal with MPR crises

What will be an ideal response?

Historically, firms have taken either a passive, defensive, or reactive approach to dealing with crisis. The passive approach assumes that the problem will eventually go away if the company simply ignores it, while the defensive approach involves the company defending itself from a weak, unanalyzed position. The reactive approach, on the other hand, consists of management drawing up a plan based on an issue after it arises. A fourth mode of addressing a crisis, the preemptive approach, requires a firm to identify potential issues before they arise and either eliminate the potential problem or construct a plan for dealing with it if it does come to pass.
