Discuss the pretrial conference that occurs before a civil trial
What will be an ideal response?
When the parties to a litigation are ready to proceed to trial, the attorneys will request a pretrial conference with the judge. All matters that will be prosecuted at trial are discussed, stipulations are made, witnesses and exhibits are discussed, etc. Once the pretrial conference is complete, a pretrial order may result that sets the trial date.
