What are the advantages and disadvantages of pasting, linking and embedding?

What will be an ideal response?

Each method of including objects from another file has advantages and disadvantages.
- The advantage of pasting or embedding an object instead of linking it is that the source file and the destination file can be stored separately. You can make changes to the object in the destination file, and the source file will be unaffected.
- The disadvantage of pasting or embedding an object is that you do not have access to the source program from within the destination file to modify the object.
- The disadvantage of embedding an object is that the destination file size is somewhat larger than it would be if the object were simply imported as a picture or text or linked.
- The advantage of linking an object instead of embedding it is that the object remains identical in the source and destination files, and the destination file size does not increase as much as if the object were embedded.
- The disadvantage of linking is that the source and destination files must be stored together.
