Researchers have studied forgiveness mostly using reactions to hypothetical situations. Who has been shown to be more forgiving?

What will be an ideal response?

Ans: Generally, women are more forgiving than men, perhaps because of socialization to be more empathic. However, a study with college students found that men became more forgiving when asked to recall a similar offense of their own, this effect was minimal for women.
