What is an ecomap?

What will be an ideal response?

The ecomap is a paper-and-pencil exercise designed to provide a simple, visual overview of the child's experience in the family and community. It begins with drawing a circle in the middle of the paper and placing the child's name in the center. Lines are then drawn to other circles representing all connections in the child's life (ex. immediate family, best neighborhood friend, extracurricular activities, childcare, extended family, etc.).
