Compare and contrast the conclusions that can be drawn from correlational and experimental research designs.

What will be an ideal response?

While both designs ask about the relationship between two variables, the correlational study asks about the direction and degree of relatedness between the two variables. The experimental design asks if one causes the other. Therefore, you can conclude if two variables are related in a correlational study, whereas in an experimental study, you can conclude if one variable caused the other.
