Discuss the population, size, and types of galaxies we find in our Local Group
What will be an ideal response?
With 45 members, the Local Group is about 1 Mpc across. All types are found, with most being dwarf ellipticals and irregulars. The two main members are M31 in Andromeda, and our own Milky Way, both big spirals around which most of the smaller galaxies cluster.

A 5.0-? resistor and a 9.0-? resistor are connected in parallel. A 4.0-? resistor is then connected in series with this parallel combination. An ideal 6.0-V battery is then connected across the series-parallel combination of the three resistors
What is the current through (a) the 4.0-? resistor? (b) the 5.0-? resistor? (c) the 9.0-? resistor?
Is the following decay allowed? ?° ? ?+ + v?
A) Yes. B) No, because charge is not conserved. C) No, because mass is created. D) No, because lepton number is not conserved.
Refer to the figure above showing the abundance of elements in the galaxy relative to hydrogen. What is the general trend in elemental abundance?
