What type of plate boundary exists along the east (right) margin of the diagram? How do you know? Please explain

What will be an ideal response?

The boundary is a subduction zone. The outlined plate (ocean side) is subducting under the continent on the right. I know this because the deep focused earthquakes are on the continental plate and these are formed by the subducting slab as it moves underneath the continent.
