Once you have opened the Untitled-Journal Entry window, on the Journal Entry tab, in the Timer group, you can click the Start Timer button and the Pause Timer button to capture the time you spend on an activity, as if you were using a stopwatch. When you are finished with the Journal entry, in the Actions group, click the Save & Close button.

Examples of when you would want to record the time an interaction takes (Answers will vary):
- You are doing a time study of how you spend your day
- You bill by the hour and want to know what to charge a customer
- You are in Sales and want to see if your efforts are paying off in more sales.
