As a qualitative researcher how would you go about ensuring that your research is valid and reliable?
What will be an ideal response?
Ans: Qualitative research must include transcription and who does it (the researcher vs. another person and how personal identifiable data will be addressed). Need to be careful of person interpretations by the way patterns are recognized, categories are created, and frequencies are derived. The role of diversity, remembering the past, thinking theoretically, and thinking critically must all be addressed.
