Explain the importance of patient confidentiality during a practicum

What will be an ideal response?

Answer: Maintaining patient confidentiality is a top priority. You may have access to patient records and other private information. You may know some of the patients yourself. What you see, hear, or read must stay at the site. You may share your experiences with family and friends but never reveal the names of patients or provide any other descriptive information that could reveal a patient's identity. Also maintain patient confidentiality during discussions with your instructors and classmates and in your written journal and notes.
