In the norming stage, the group members experience a sense of unity, mutuality and cooperation. The performing stage occurs when the group members have a clear sense of the group’s purpose and productivity is strong. The adjourning stage occurs when closure is reached, and learning is summarized and considered how it might transfer to other settings.
