Discuss the different ways plants propagate other than from seeds. What are the

advantages of each method?

What will be an ideal response?

In addition to propagation directly from seeds, plants may also propagate through
asexual reproduction which may involve division of roots, cuttings of leaves, stems, or
roots; budding and grafting; and by tissue culture. The advantages of asexual
reproduction are that the result creates an exact duplicate of the existing plant. The
disadvantages include the time involved.
