A strong answer will discuss who the peer review process works by including the following steps:
a. Journal editor sends the manuscript, with no author-identifying information to at least three research experts for review
b. Each of the experts submits a detailed review of the research making suggestions for improvement and provide their assessment on whether the manuscript to be rejected, revised, or accepted
c. The editor makes the final decision about the manuscript and informs the author.
d. If an author receives a recommendation to revise and resubmit, the revision will under the same review process.
