Define MSO and LAO in a negotiation. Give an example of each.

What will be an ideal response?

MSO (maximum supportable outcome) is the absolute most one can ask for in the
opening position within reason. LAO (least acceptable outcome) is the least result one is
willing to accept from the negotiation. Examples will vary. One common example is
when buying a new car, the MSO is the list price minus 15% and the LAO is the list price.
