Why do you think the water formed in the glass with the leaf? Where did it

come from and how did it get there?

What will be an ideal response?

The water came from the leaf and the glass of water below. Through capillary action,
the xylem in the leaf draws in water that is then released in vapor form through the
stomates. As the water vapor condenses, it forms water droplets on the glass.
